Unabashed Spoiler Hound & Fanfic writer

Reveling in the fickle nature of fangirlishness

Time for Change
It's been a while since I've posted a blog entry or a fic (fanfic or otherwise) here for that matter.

Real life, of course, is a simple fact of life and must be addressed because it, sadly, pays all the bills.

But real life isn't the only reason I've been away.

I have been dedicatedly writing blogs for Supernatural for the first few years it's been on, starting on TV Guide, and when they abandoned their blogging option, here at LJ.

While I've enjoyed writing the blogs for writing's sake, I'm afraid that my rabid love for Supernatural has waned a bit. I still enjoy watching it, but my passion for writing about the episodes has cooled and with that cooling affection has come my absence on LJ.

Thanks to friends, most notably Faye Dartmouth and Laughter's Melody, I've decided that it's time for a change.

I've been indulging quite ravenously in my fanfic, specifically for the cancelled show, Chaos, but also for Hawaii Five-0, both, my most recent fangirlish obsessions. Most of my fanfic has resided at fanfiction.net and can still be found there, but as I said, I think it's time for a change and use LJ more effectively for my latest fangirlish fadishness.

So, I'm hoping to cross-post my fanfiction here as well as post future comments about all things that interest me in the TV verse. Whether it be a show that's currently on that excites and delights me or an actor who has really impressed me or has brought out my fangirlish nature, I hope to write about it here. Some future entries towards the Fall Season will hopefully include some ravings over a promising pilot that I hope NBC airs, called Beautiful People, which stars James Murray, along with many other note-worthy thespians.

I hope those of you who have followed me all along will find me again with this new purpose and if you are so inclined, read some of the fiction I post here as well as my streams of consciousness ramblings with interest, enough to comment if you will as well.

Thanks for enduring the silence and I hope I haven't lost you to it.

Sometimes change can be a very good thing. Especially when it involves more focus on all things James Murray :)

I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to respond, but I'm finally catching up. Real life really can get in the way, lol!

You know I've been enjoying your Chaos stories, and I look forward to reading more! LJ is a great place for fan fic. :D

I know what you mean about wanting to expand your focus. I gave up quite a while ago on keeping myself down to just a few fandoms, lol. Too many things can inspire you! And having great actors on the shows helps too, of course... *grins*
